Lacy’s still got it!!!
What a performance!! The Lacy J. Dalton concert this past Saturday night was amazing. The folks that braved the cold and snow were treated to a delightful performance by one of country musics most beloved artist. The completely sold-out theatre was the perfect location for an intimate show that made you feel as if you were sitting with Lacy in her home. Her stories about her life and loves touched everyone. She must have enjoyed performing as much as the audience enjoyed listening as her energy and enthusiam turned into a two hour plus performance and nobody left until she sang the last song! It’s hard to believe that her first hits were 30 years ago – she sang each song as if it were the first time. The new songs made us all want to rush out to buy her latest CD. Her voice is still strong and beautiful as ever.
I don’t ever recall seeing so many happy, smiling faces on such a cold, snowy, winter evening in January! Maybe it’s because she warmed our hearts.
We hope she will come back again…she’d sure be welcome anytime!
