Cody Wild West Shows huge success

The final Cody Wild West Show for 2009 was a performance by BJ Thomas. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t know his music, he had so many hits in both pop and country, and everybody knows “Raindrops keep fallin on my head”. It was an incredible show with song after song or should I say hit after hit that had the audience singing along. I’ll let you know when we have the 2010 shows lined up. I’m sure Dan Miller has some great acts coming to Cody!

A summer Cody Wild West Show

The Cody Wild West Show is preparing for the fourth concert of the series. Suzy Bogguss will perform at the downtown Cody Theatre on Sunday night, July 26. Suzy has won many awards including ACM’s Top Female Vocalist, CMA Horizon Award, Rising Star Award, Top Video of the Year (twice) and Album of the Year.

This promises to be another intimate, memorable evening in the Cody Theatre.

Tickets will be $20.00 and are available at the Cody Chamber office or by calling 1-800-393-2639.

TG Sheppard Cody Wild West Show #2

The second Cody Wild West Show will be TG Sheppard performing on Saturday, February 22 at 8:00 pm. TG Sheppard won “Best New Male Artist” in 1976 and had 10 consecutive number one songs. I wonder how many performers have had that! I had a phone call from someone who saw TG perform in Roundup, Montana several years ago and he said it was a phenominal concert. We are all very excited for the chance to see this amazing perfomer and if his show is a good as Lacy J. Dalton’s was we will all have a terrific evening!

Keeping with the tradition that Buffalo Bill began, the new Cody Wild West Show is sure to entertain!
Lacy J. Dalton will kick off this new concert series with a performance at the Cody Theatre on January 24. Tickets are $20.00 and available at the Cody Chamber office. Popular performer TG Sheppard will perform February 28 and March will feature the amazing Mel Tillis. The caliber of talent that the Cody Wild West Show has scheduled would typically be seen in Branson or other, larger cities. But this small, western town is sure to give a big Wyoming welcome to these wonderful performers and to all who come to hear their music.
